Features & Strengths:
Good value. Comfortable, sturdy, reasonably fast cruiser.
Good all around boat. Good design with lots of practical storage and easy
engine access.

Very satisfied. Would definitely buy again.



Dufour 35 de 1975:
Fast offshore cruiser w/fin keel and skeg rudder. Stiff sailer w/deep draft, stout rig and keel stepped mast. Semi-flush deck with large deck hatches. Quality construction with full liner bonded to the hull and beautiful mahogany interior. Tiller. Very large offset double master berth. A bit slow in light
air and lacks opening hull portlights (not so good in hot weather). Very satisfied- love the boat.



Dufour 35 de 1972:
Sloop rig, low deck, well constructed. The mast is keel stepped, the rudder is large with a botton support. The keel is a fin type design and glassed over cast steel. Boat is very stable with a draft of 6' and mast ht. of 50' above the water. The engine is a raw water cooled MD3B Volvo producing about 32 horsepower. The engine when rebuilt show little sign of corrosion after 24 years in the brackish water. The bottom was reglassed in 1996 because of blisters. One of the nice things is the internal fiberglass liner that extends from just below the floor boards to the upper deck. There are two main hatches 25" X 25" and one small hatch over the head. The hatches have cast aluminum frames. The boat sails well and does 6.5 to 7 knots in a 12 to 15 knot apparent wind. Rails are heavy duty stainless steel. Main cockpit winches are #43 Lewmar. Deck hardware is heavy duty. Boat is well suited for ocean sailing. Very satisfied. The boat has classical lines that does not look out dated.
